Similar to my first 'monthly favourites' post in June, I'm here today sharing some of my favourite items and products from July that I'm really, really loving. Here goes!
Versace Bright Crystal Eau De Toilette 90ml
There are days you just walk into a perfume store and randomly pick out the prettiest bottle of perfume which happens to smell perfect. This is one that I got recently (and randomly), but it has a light and sweet floral scent, which is sheer yet lingers at the same time. Will be loving this scent for a while! P/S: I am usng another perfume cap that isn't originally what it came with.
Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Lotion
I've been more or less a fan of Hada Labo since 2 to 3 years back when I got a chance to work with them through Ellysage. Their lip balms and facial cleansers are my favourite! I must have bought at least 3 of their lip balm tubes and 5 facial cleansers since then.
Recently, I had the privilege of attending a Hada Labo spa event where they used this Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Lotion on my skin, and that's when my love for it rekindled. I'm using it along with my other skincare products now including Hada Labo Perfect Gel and Essence, but the lotion is hands down my favorite because it's never sticky on my skin and gets absorbed almost instantly. I have been using it with my favorite serum (it's next on the list) and the results are really amazing!
Kiehl's Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturizing Serum Concentrate
To be completely honest, I've never liked a serum as much as I like this! The texture of this serum is rather velvety, which gave me the impression that it will probably be oily or sticky when applied on my skin. Imagine that delight when I applied it and it isn't the least bit oily or sticky! Similar to the lotion I listed above, this serum gets absorbed into my skin very quickly and I have really felt my skin become more hydrated, plump and less dull. This product is something that's definitely going to go on my "will repurchase" list - even though the one I'm using was sent over by Kiehl's for PR purposes.
Etude House Color in Liquid Lips (RD302)
For the longest time I've been looking for a lip product that can be long-lasting yet moisturising and bold in colour. This is one lip product that definitely meets all the criteria. Also, I'm loving particularly this shade of red and not forgetting the velvet finish!
Aritaum Cream Full Cover Concealer
I got this Aritaum concealer after seeing it on BubzBeauty's April Favorites 2015. And I'm pleased to say, this concealer is really worth the rave! Well as you can see, it comes in two shades and I'm using the one on the right more often since it's in a salmon shade and suits my skin tone more. The salmon-shade definitely works well in concealing dark eye rings! In case you're wondering, I got mine from here at around SGD10, which is pretty affordable for a concealer in my opinion.
Mango Sunglasses (Model no: MN403-10)
If you had seen my previous blog post or are on my Instagram, you'd know I've been wearing this pair so often! Other than the size, style and colour, I also like the polarized lenses which provides extra visual comfort and clarity as I can still see well under harsh light conditions. It's definitely gotta be my favourite pair of sunnies in a while!
