Being propped up in bed with books, magazines and your favorite earl grey tea is always a good idea... except when your immunity system is down and you're secretly battling those horrible ear blocks and constantly wheezing.
I enjoy solitude — the state of isolation, lacking contact with other people. Just sometimes, we all need to sit down and catch a breather. Today afternoon was spent mostly under the duvet, just sitting and reading (current read: Girl Online by Zoe Sugg).
The thing about reading is that I enjoy being submerged into the storyline itself. I like to see myself as the first-person narrative, and attempt to feel and experience what he/she feels. It's kind of like having a chance to 'become someone else', experiencing life in his/her shoes. More often than not, these stories bring me along a trip beyond imagination, and that is how a story is captivating. You don't just read, you feel.
P/S — Pretty much into these grey printed winter wonderland pants by Young Hungry Free. They're about the comfiest pants ever, period.
