Had a late lunch with Cëe the other day at Choupinette Café, a humble little french-styled cafe located at the western side of Singapore. The interior is quite pretty and quaint, with random mirrors hung as decoration and vintage-looking furniture around. Being pretty near to my school, I'm actually rather flabbergasted at how I've never been there for the past (close to) 3 years.
Anyway, that aside, the menu was quite a spread considering how small the cafe actually is. Both of us however, ordered the Eggs Benedict (SGD$25++) which I've heard is one of their more popular dishes. The meal came with a juice as well as a hot drink of your choice, though I've no idea about the concept behind serving both cold and hot drinks.
The verdict? Honestly, this is the best Eggs Benedict in Singapore that I've tried, ever. I personally do not enjoy really sour hollandaise sauce, but the sauce on this Eggs Benedict weren't sour and was very much to my liking. The food portion was big and the salad was fresh and tasty as well. Would gladly visit this cafe again anytime, any day.
